I've figured out the reasons why all single women are so messed up....drum roll please...

It started out for most of us in Junior High with Duckie as the example of the perfect best friend. Then we moved into High School where Lloyd Dobbler was the best high school boyfriend a girl could ask for. Then comes college where we were introduced to Brandon Walsh, Chandler Bing, Noel Crane and Max Evans. Now, we're in the 'real world' where we are even more twisted because of the examples of Jim Halpert and Derek Shepherd--boyfriends extraordinaire and Eric Taylor the husband to beat all husbands--hands down!
Maybe not all single women are as twisted and dark as some of us (me) but I do believe that with these characters in our faces all the time no guy will ever measure up--Oy vey!

I'm pretty sure I'm still in love with Duckie. Aaron has seen that movie so many times that when he hears the Psychedelic Furs sing Pretty in Pink he has a seizure.
It's so very sad for our poor guys who just aren't like that! They will never be able to measure up to fiction...
